'Rocktober 2006' promotion Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern the supply of our Services and any modem or other equipment you buy from us under the 3 months free promotion and modify the standard terms and conditions applying to your service which continue to apply in all other respects. Your use of our Services indicates your acceptance of these Terms, and has the same force and effect as if you had actually signed these Terms. If you join up during this period but choose not to participate in the 3 months free promotion, the standard terms and conditions will apply unmodified.

This promotion is open to customers who purchase a Wireless Modem or Wireless Card and use it to sign up to an Unwired Broadband plan on a 24 month contract between 23 October and 30 November 2006 inclusive. It is not available to existing customers, in conjunction with any other offer or on Fast Internet plans. Customers' ability to change plans up or down once per billing month applies to broadband plans only – customers on this contract may not change down to Fast Internet plans. Three months are provided free as follows: we will deduct from the invoice for the 6th, 12th and 18th contract months the plan fee for the lowest value plan subscribed to during the five months preceding those invoices.  For the purposes of this promotion the fifth month of the period relevant to the calculation of the free month deduction concludes on the date that the invoice for the sixth month is created – this may be 5 to 7 days before the end of the month. Months in which a deduction is made are not included in the calculation periods for the upcoming free month deduction. Additional services such as mailboxes, web hosting or excess usage will not be deducted. For example, if you join during the promotion on the Breakaway 512k $49.95 plan on a 24 month contract and change down to the Kickstart $34.95 plan in the second month, one Kickstart month will be free and the deduction from the invoice for the 6th month will be $34.95 not $49.95. A change to the On-Hold plan will extend contract length by the period on hold, one On-Hold month will be free and the deduction from the relevant invoice will be $5.00 only. If you join on the Breakaway 512k $49.95 plan on a 24 month contract and purchase an additional mailbox for $1.20 per month, the deduction from the relevant invoice will be $49.95 not $51.15. Early termination fees will apply to cancellations and any free months outstanding at the time of cancellation will be forfeited. Money back guarantee terms and conditions operate as usual and free months will not apply.
